Orr Construction
Orr construction, does not pay on subcontract work

Shops, Products, Services

We contracted with Orr to provide fence and gates around the new BLM facility in silt colorado.
The work was competed in august and we submitted for payment. Orr has a long and fairly complex contract that is very one sided in their favor. They will use any omision as an excuse to deny payment while telling you over the phone everything is fine and you will be paid soon. They seem to have a policy of saying one thing in person or over the phone and then denying payment down the road in writing. YOU MUST GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING with this company.
Currently it is December 22 and we have not recieved a penny of the 55k or so owed to us. At least one other contractor that I'm aware of has had to file a lien on this project. We have sent them the notice of intent and plan to file tommorow as well.
I would advise subcontracter to be very careful in working with ORR.
I will update this report is the situation changes.
