Enhanced Services Billing Inc. And Trivoice Intl. Ltd. Put a charge on my ATT residence phone bill dated 12.14.2009 for $16.30. I had no idea what the charge is for and do not know who these companies are. I informed ATT that I was not paying the charge as I had not ordered anything.
ATT has credited me the charge on my bill and I let ATT know what I have found out about these companies by doing a search on the internet:
that the Federal Trade Commission found their billing activity on phone bills to be illegal in 2001 — looks like they are at it again. I filed a formal complaint with the FTC just yesterday 12/212009;
and that both ESBI and Trivoice have long lists of compaints attached to their name all over the internet. I'm surprised they had the gall to still use this business name.
Maybe they don't realize how fast word of mouth passes on the internet.
If you get charged by this company through your phone bill, get your refund immediately by informing your regular phone company that these scammers are using the phone company's legitimate business for illegal billing activity, fraud and identity theft.
I think if we all act together we can put ESBI and Trivoice and whatever other names this company uses out of business for good.
