Brought in two pieces of jewelry for appraisal and paid in advance - only 1 was done

A couple of weeks ago, I brought in two pieces of 18k jewelry to be appraised. I paid in full in advance. When I picked them up today, only one appraisal was done. The other piece of jewelry had a piece of scratch paper attached saying "not real". There was no appraisal with it so there was no indication what the metals were, etc.

When I complained, I was told that I would have to pay again to find out more. I paid for two appraisals and was only given one. This is not an honest establishment. Unfortunately, I was mugged this week and my purse stolen, so I don't have the piece of paper showing everything; although I do have my credit card statement. I will never do business with this store again and I hope nobody else does either.
