Mampre Minci Do Not Purchase Anything From Here Even an Appraisal

I paid to have my diamond ring appraised at Da Mincci Jewelers. As a diamond collector, I thought the appraised amount was exorbitant. So a week later I took it to another store in California to have the same ring appraised and it was appraised thousands of dollars less and noted different color and clarity for the diamond. I was shocked! I asked the appraiser how could there be such a major difference. The appraiser said that some jewelry stores perform appraisals without being a Certified Gemologist Appraiser or even a Certified Gemologist just to make an extra buck. I called Da Mincci Jewelers and an employee said that the owner examines the jewelry and signs appraisals but is not Certified Gemologist Appraiser or a Certified Gemologist! How can a store owner run a business deceiving people? The employees should at least mention to their customers that no one employed there is a Certified Gemologist Appraiser or a Certified Gemologist before performing before any appraisal. What a ripoff!
