Started working for company as independant subcontractor on July 22. Before the relationship was started we had agreed on usual buisness material (conduct, pay, etc...)
My company worked on several different projects dealing with home improvements for Your Castle Remodeling Co. I submitted an invoice on a weekly basis for all work rendered including materials used. I never had an invoice paid in full. I spoke with Heath M. Slavin about this and he assured me that I was to be paid.
Well as time went on my company was to fabricate, finish, and install a custom maple handrail for one of his clients. The deal was that I was to be paid in full after the handrail was installed. The handrail was installed and completed on August 22. I sent an invoice to the company for payment. Then, Heath started renegotiating our original deal.
I carried the company to small claims court. I was awarded judgement for all owed money. It's been 5 months with no contact from company and no money... Buyer beware!!!
