Misrepresentation Fraud

I own a construction company and thought it would help my business to be able to accept credit cards. The local person that signed me up with EPS knew ahead of time that times were tough for we in the construction business and I would not sign up if there were an annual fee. I signed up expecting a $10 dollar a month fee and a small per-transaction fee AND NOTHING ELSE. I repeated this over and over to this local person and bought the card machine from them outright.

Turns out they recently took an $80 some dollar ANNUAL FEE directly from my bank account costing me an overdraft fee at the worst possible time.in calling these outright thieves I find out it is too late to cancle this year and I can only cancel in writing. If I were to mail them my cancellation notice today I was informed that they would put it on file until this time next year when my "account" would be closed/cancelled. Meanwhile they will keep deducting their "fee" from my account each month as well as the annual fee that was never part of the agreement, or I could buy them off for some $600 dollars. What country am I living in, again?
