Don't buy newegg gift cards!

I bought online gift card from NewEgg on 11/6; the recipient never received e-mail from NewEgg comprising giftcard.

I approached NewEgg customer support plus they stated they'd resend the card in my experience and also the receiver; neither people acquired the card. I approached the client support division three more occasions and was informed the card could be resent to both events every time, but again, neither people acquired the card.

On 11/30, I requested the gift-card be ended and also the money returned and that I was informed it'd be returned within 48 hours.

I called again on 12/3, as the money had not been refunded to my account, and was told by a customer service rep that the card had been canceled two weeks prior, long before I first contacted them inquiring about the status of the card. These were unable to inform me why it had been ended or by whom, and insisted the cash have been returned to my bill on 11/19.

Our lender doesn't have report of the reimbursement, and NewEgg hasn't supplied me with any information from their documents showing the refund actually occurred, despite my efforts to achieve that info.

I've talked with numerous customer support representatives and an escalation repetition, all who've didn't supply me with any evidence that NewEgg returned the cash.

I've submitted a challenge with Lender of America about that issue, as efforts to work well with NewEgg to solve the matter appear to have been useless.

I've been a faithful NewEgg client for a long time, but I'll never buy something from their website again following this experience.
