Overdraft Fees

I had overdrawn by $6.67 on my checking account. I don't use this account very often and look at it even less. I was over two weeks before I found out it was overdrawn and was being charge a daily overdraft charge of $8.00. It was up to almost $200.00 that I owed. I was able to "settle" this for $86.67, about half of what the charges where. But in exchange I was asked not to close the account immediately. I am just glad I don't direct deposit my check to this account or I would have been out the money. Guess what? I don't put anymore money in here, but the account is still open!
