Anthoney Short Advertises A/C repairs at low price. Cashed my $600. Check immediatedly and A/C hasn't worked since, won't return calls. I doubt he even did the repairs at all

Advertises Air conditioning repairs at low prices on Craig's List. Says he guarantees work. I'm a single mom with 4 kids. This was a real sacrifice for me. Came out and charged me $600. To replace parts... Unit was not heating. Said he replaced TXV part and run cap. Told me to give unit time for freon to circulate. Unit was cooling before he got there. Would not cool after he left. He cashed the check immediately... Too late to stop payment. Called him repeatedly would not return calls. Called legitimate company. Tech said he did not replace run cap. He took pictures and had rewired the cap improperly and it could have burned up my compressor. This company is a con. Short and Sons; Anthoney Short. BEWARE...!!! I'm going to file a criminal report and a civil lawsuit. I have technician report and pictures.
