My family recently moved from Galveston, TX to Fort Worth, TX. After checking with several different movers we soon realized that this was going to cost a fortune. Then we got an email from Tex Express Movers that seemed like a dream come true. How wrong we were.

Their quote was half of the lowest quote that we had recieved so far and after talking to them on the phone they seemed quite proffesional. They showed up on time and looked like they had their act together. Well it took them 4 hours to pack the truck even though my wife and I had already packed all of the boxes ourselves.

When they "Finished" loading the truck, there were still several items that they had just decided not to load. I had to put these in the truck myself. Then we left for Fort Worth.

I was going to follow the truck just in case anything happened.in traffic however, I lost them. I got to the apartment where my wife and son were waiting but the movers were nowhere to be seen. 2 hours later they finally showed up.

We had a very expensive set of brand new bedroom that was less than 2 months old that I had specifically told them to be careful with. It looked they had thrown a dwarf with a hatchet in the truck after it was loaded and told him to go to town on our bedroom furniture.

They were also supposed to assemble all of the furniture after they unloaded the truck.instead they basically piled up all of our stuff in the middle of the living room and then took off.

The final total of the move was double what they had originally quoted. Now we had more items than were on the estimate but not twice as many.

They were also drinking on the job. When they were unloading the truck they reeked of beer and we saw them drinking in the back of the truck. Stay away from this company at all costs. If you go with them you will regret it.
