2 Kids came to my door selling magazines and I was told I could cancel. Within the 3 days I sent the cancellation but my check was already cashed. I sent proof of deposit and still no refund

I had 2 young men come to my door to sell me magazine subscriptions and was pressured to purchase one from each so they both got points. I did and wrote them a check which I was told I had 7 days to cancel and would get a refund. When I changed my mind and read the small print on the back of the receipt I received it said I had to cancel in writing and be mailed within 3 business days. I did fill out the cancellation and have it mailed in 3 days and it was delivered because I requested a delivery receipt for my letter. I heard nothing, so I sent copies of the cancellations for their deposited checks requesting my refund and still have not heard anything.
