Lifeline Financial is a loan modification company. They ask for their money upfront which is illegal on the promise that they will lower your interest rate as well as the principal balance. That is a lie. The interest rate is already set by the investor and they do not lower the principal mortgage. They tell you at the end when you have no choice but to sign the document that the investor will not lower your principal balance. The investor will lower your interest rate based on a 30% reduction of your monthly mortgage payment set by President Obama. They do not return phone calls right away or answer emails. They do not treat you like a client. I have paid almost $1800.00 for this service and I did not get what they have promised me. I already filed a report with the Internet Fraud Center. It is a crime complaint center. Their web site is www.IC3. Gov. I will also be calling the FBI fraud unit in Miami at 305-787-6538 as well as the State of Florida Disctrict Attorney's office at 850-414-3990. The A. G office is in Talahasee. I will be filing a report and have them investigate. I believe their is a treand with this company and they are stealing money from people. They need to be stopped. They already have one complaint against them with the BBB. They are rated A-. Do not work with this company. They are a scam and they lie. I almost lost my house.
