Lifeline financial promised to reduce my mortgage payments in half. After i payed them there was no contact for 6 months. When i called to check on their progess, they told me that there was nothing they could do for me and wanted to negotiate a refund. At this time i knew i had been scammed. After more research on the matter, i found out that it was illegal in the state of idaho to accept fees before modifactions were made. This is a bait and switch scam. For $995.00 and 6 months wasted, these people still want to keep the money for services they cannot even prove. For a company that bragged about their staff of lawyers, you would think that one of them should have known that their buisness practices were a fraud.
