Beware of Quicken Loans rip off

I fell for these rip off artists. While on the phone I was quoted the value of my home as a certain amount. I was told that a $500 good faith deposit would be required and that it would be refunded. I signed papers and all terms were agreed on. Then they ordered an appraisal that returned with a lower value to my home. I then rejected and they didn't return my money saying that it was to pay for the appraisal which consisted of a woman taking three or four pictures of my house. I also was charged for the credit report. I feel that this company was not up front and are a bunch of crooks. I would not had gone through the process of the loan if they hadn't told me I qualified. They had the amount of payments, etc all in writing and everything was supposed to be set. I feel I got nothing for my money. Beware: do not do business with this unethnical company.
