Using thehiringcoach.com will not get you a resume that gets you hired

I had the same experience everyone else has had. I sent my resume to have it critiqued. A few days later, on 9/10/09, I received an invoice through PayPal for $15. I paid the invoice the same day. The $15 charge was deducted from my checking account 9/11/09.

Per the website, after payment is received, you will have your resume back in 48-72 hours. It is now 9/28/09 and I still don't have my resume back.

I have sent at least 6 e-mails, if not more, to LKB@thehiringcoach.com. Several were returned by the Yahoo mailer daemon. The last few have been received but they are being ignored.

I have filed a dispute with my bank and with PayPal. The hiringocoach.com website looks very professional and even has testimonials from "satisfied" customers but it's all a scam. If you google Lora Boffa, who claims to be the founder of thehiringcoach.com. She is actually a recruiter, but it appears that she is out of a job herself.
