Inaccurate credit reporting -accepting fraudulent claims and failing to investigate properly ripoff fraud business

Equifax has allowed an incompetant firm to incorrectly report a debt, and despite 3 letters to Equifax, they have failed to investigate and uncover the wrongdoing, preferring rather to simply send me a generic reply each time. They are worthless, and fraudulent.in reading the many complaints against them in this forum, I can see that this is nothing new. Question is, what can we DO about it? Whom can we complain or write to who can do something about them? Someone in the state of Georgia, perhaps? Is there a consumer complaints organization in the state? Please email me with any suggestions and lets put Equifax out of business once and for all.
