Fila Brasileiro Breeder Linda Maggio of Carioca Kennels sold me a sick Fila Brasileiro puppy. He arrived infested with worms and Giardia. She refused to answer my calls. At 7 months of age the Fila was diagnosed as having severe Hip Dysplasia and will have to be put to sleep unless I can come up with the money needed for the surgery. I have pleaded for her to talk to me but I get no response. I would not recommend this breeder. When I called other breeders I was told this was not the first time she has had a litter of Filas with severe hip problems. A gentlemen in Texas told me the same thing happened to him and until he went public with his story she ignored him to. Please do not buy from this Carioca Kennels. The owner/breeder Linda Maggio does not care about the dogs she breeds or the people who buy them.
