ASGSECURITY.com The sales rep deceited by putting me in 3 year contract with autorenewal (which was never discussed or mentioned), no information is ever sent in the last 4 years. Unable to get out of contract

Very unfortunately, in June I have chosen this company as my home security monitoring needs. The sales rep told me that I have to oblige 3years contract and after the initial 3 years, I have to provide 30 days notices to cancel (if I choose to get out of the contract). I have tried to contact several times in the last 1-2 months, to get out of my contract with this company, they are telling me that there is very small words somewhere in the initial contract, that the contract will be renewed automatically without any communication or notice from this great company.

I can't disconnect my home phone to change to VOIP phone also as their security monitoring system doesn't work with anything other than home phone line. Not only I am stuck paying this security company until I get out of their contract for another 1 year, I can't change or disconnect my home phone line (land line) also. I am requesting every customer who sees this rip off report to be aware of this scam and deceitful, sales practice by this company. Please do your research and there are many companies in this kind of similar business who are not as pathetic as this company.

I am going to file a complaint with State attorney General and DPS dept (who oversees this kind of companys licenses) for their fraud, deceitful, customer unfriendly business practices which are unethical in nature. I request each and every one of the customer to spread word about this company and their deceitful sales practices during their initial contract. I am writing this report to bring customer awareness so that I don't want any of the existing or new customers to fall for their trick and kind of stuck like me. Existing customers - caution advised, please call them to know your annual contract expiration date and cancel 30 days before to move to a different company. I am going to request the state law makers to protect the innocent customers from this kind of fraud, deceitful customer practices by the companies like - ASG Security. I have tried to call them and explain my personal situation, they dont care any law, they dont care customers, they dont care AG, they dont care DPS, they think they have the right and customers dont have any right. They won't even send me any document to remind me when my annual contract expires. You have to keep their golden initial contract which was written ages ago as you are stuck like me for ages...

I feel sorry for the existing customers... Get out of their contract during your annual renewal so that they can change their deceitful business practices. Their supervisors, managers dont care about customers either. I spoke to their cancellation dept, they dont care you, and they care only how to rip off the customers... Kind of mentality. New customers - Beware of this company - dont fall for their sales tricks and stuck with the contract like me...
