I signed up for Tmobile service earlier this year and bought a Sidekick 2008 for $150. There was a special running that when you purchased the sidekick you would receive a $50 rebate card in the mail within 90 days. I was told I would pay $95 a month for the unlimited data services package, unlimited messaging, 300 whenever minutes and myfaves. Everything was ok for the first 2 months. I never received my $50 rebate card as promised and had to call back for another 2 months after initially waiting the 90 days as told to try to track it down. Eventually I was sent my rebate card.

Then the phone broke and was frozen on the home screen and would not move. I took it to 3 different tmobile stores to fix it and called customer service from my home phone and work phone to try to troubleshoot it with the representatives and nothing worked. I was told I had to have a replacement phone sent to me and to pay $19.99 for shipping which would get it to me in 3 days. I agreed to the shipping charge and the next day, I got the phone to work by doing a hard reset that I had found the steps to do online. I called tmobile right away and told them not to mail the replacement phone since I didn't need it. The rep said ok and that she would notate my account. 3 days later, I get the replacement phone from UPS. I refused the package and sent it back only to still be charged the shipping. That issue took 3 months to get resolved but I finally got the charge reversed from my account.

I was talking on the phone last night at 1am and the phone drops the call and refuses to let me text or call and says I am out of minutes but I knew I still had 167 minutes left. I tried calling customer care but they were closed for the night so I had no choice but to pay the bill 4 days ahead of when it was due. As soon as I paid the $95, the phone started working again and I received a text that said I had 167 minutes remaining until August 08 when they're scheduled to restart. According to that logic, I have to pay my bill again in 4 days!

I have had nothing but problems with tmobile since day 1 and it has taken months and months and numerous calls to different representatives who cannot help me. Whenever I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was always told one was not available and to call back later and then promptly hung up on. I'm switching my service to Verizon Wireless first thing tomorrow. I warn everyone to stay away from this terrible, overpriced, company!
