Online scam billed through Verizon Telephone bill

An unknown new charge of $15.70 appeared on my Verizon bill. It was listed as ILD Teleservices inc. I called the ILD number and they immediately offered to remove the service, no questions asked. Of course this made me suspicious so I asked where it came from and they said Fone Right Inc. I called Fone Right who said that I had signed up for it by registering on usprizedraw.com I looked at this website and do not recall ever having seen it before. I never sign up for any kinds of prizes or coupons so I still do not know how they got my phone number. I called Verizon to ask why they would allow this company to bill through them. They said it was a legitimate company. Watch your phone bill!
