Well, I get this same call one night. ALl of your long distance and local for one low price... including call waiting, blah blah. So I signed up. It was supposed to be $55.00. I get one bill for $7.00, then the next month, one for $14. Third month, it's over $80. So I called and that extra is taxes, blah, blah. Fine, whatever.

So a few months later, we move. Sell our house, etc. I call to have service disconnected. They say it takes 2 weeks. Are you kidding me? I know it would not take that long if I hadn't paid my bill. So the girl that bought our house calls two weeks later. Still no phone for her. So I call again. Oops... Of course they can't tell me what happened. So they submit it again. Another 2 weeks I am told. Fine, WHATEVER! #$ ()*! $

So another two weeks later, she calls again (very patient girl) and I call MCI again. Well that second order didn't take (whatever that means) and no one even notified me about it. We moved from there on 3/7/03. So now we are into April. Then I call a week later because every time I call our old number, I can still check messages... Shouldn't be able to do that if the # is shut off. So finally I ask for a manager. I explain the situation and even she tells me it will be another 2 weeks. I asked why no one notified me that the one order didn't go through. Why would I expect her to know?!

Honestly it gets better. So anyhow, that was a Monday that I called and spoke with her.By Wednesday the phone was FINALLY shut off. But like I said, it gets better.

So about 2 weeks later (their motto or something... 2 weeks) I get a bill for the entire month of March and 1/2 of April. ARE YOU KIDDING ME.?!?! So I call and complain AGAIN. And the girl tells me that she has to use her best judgement, but that she believes me. God help her if she didn't! I don't know how long I would have gone off. SO she figures my bill out... We only had the service for 7 days out of 30 or so... But she didn't figure the taxes into that also... Just the package price. SO a month later, I get a bill for $13.00. I haven't even called because I don't want to deal with another person there!
