Damaged property and poor customer service

I called the spa mover to move my hot tub from the freinds house that i bought it from to my house. Their website said a crew of 4 men would perform the task. When 2 guys showed up, I was surprised. I had just had surgery therfore I could not help them. Nor should I have to. It is a large hot tub, but I told them exactly how big it was when I initially set up the move. They struggled to move it but finally got the hot tub pretty close to where I wanted it. I mentiooned to one of them that the filter door did not stay up and he said he didn't know anything about that. I just assumed if I wanted to complain it was obvious that i would need totake it up with his manager.

After i signed the paper work and they left I noticed that they damaged the concrete on my patio. They never mentioned it to me and I was not physically able to carefully inspecct the job done. I did contact the company through e-mail and was told that since i signed the form they were not going to do anything. I sent several e-mail to fully explain the situation and the do not respond any more. If the employees would have told me they damaged the property Iwould not have signed the form. I trusted them to perform their work in a professional manner. I was wrong. I see now why they wanted me to sign the papers because they knew their management would hide behind those papers regardless of actual fault. Very disappointed in the misrepresentation of the company, unprofessionalisn, and poor customer service.

Please think twice before you spend more than 400 dollars to have this company move your spa or hot tub.
