A young man came to my house selling magazines. He said he was trying to earn money to attend college. He said he got a certain percentage of the total sale for his tuition. He seemed very personable and played on your sympathy for his lack of money. He impressed you with his determination to find a way to work his way through.

I purchased a cooking magazine for myself, a children's magazine for my daughter, and a puzzle magazine subscription for my mom. The total was
$154.00 for all three. I paid him by check which was promptly cashed. The check was made out to FloRd Agency, P.O. Box 480309, Delray Beach, FL 33448. He said the magazines would be mailed three to four months after the order was received.

This young man was Caucasian, olive completion, dark brown hair. He was short, about 5'7", a little chubby, and about 21 years old.
