Was sold two magazine subscribtions at a crazy price. No Magazines Just a bill

A colleged aged kid came to my door soliciting magazine subscribtions. Tried to relate with me about cars and from where I last lived.
I noticed the subscribtions were on the high side but it was for a good cause so I decided to help him out. I wrote a check for the two subscritions made out to Flord Agency.
About two weeks later I reciever two notices in the mail saying I owe $42.50 more if I want the magazines. That would take the total over $90.00. I'm not paying $90 for some magazines.
Being that the notices had no phone numbers, no email, no website, only a PO Box out of Florida, I tried finding the company online but only found this website.
