Robert "Bob" Hinsley, The Hinsley Law Firm, Consumersdefense.com Charged a non-refundable $3k retainer fee to send 7 letters and failed to resolve any debt disputes!

We, too, were duped into paying The Hinsley Law Firm $3k to resolve our credit card debt without filing bankruptcy. My husband and I attended two seminars by this smooth-talking salesman/"attorney" before signing up for his program. We followed ALL of his steps, and the collection calls did not stop. Several major credit card companies refused to work with him, and yes, we were sued by one of them. Obviously, it would be silly to post the court and case #, as the firm would then know our identity and probably start harassing us.in the end, we were forced to file bankruptcy and listed a potential lawsuit against The Hinsley Law Firm as an asset. I hope the trustee looks into this unscrupulous conduct and pursues the case. I don't know how Mr. Hinsley has not been sanctioned or disbarred, as his "services" are clearly a scam and, in my opinion, he is a fraud. Bob - if you happen to stumble across this and have one of your staff members post a rebuttal, please have them explain exactly what services you are selling... I'm still at a loss.
