Fred Joseph, U S Search, U S Search and Fred Joseph fraudulent financial search scams

You'll hear him go on about how he is an attorney doing financial searches on the side, and besides, you have a referral from a collection agency who used him many times before. Then you fax him a check ($195 - $495) which he cashes without actually having it in his hand. After a few months you don't hear anything so you call him to check on the progress of his 'search'. He becomes angry and tells you that you haven't given him enough time. After a few more months he tells you he hasn't found any financial records, which 'happens'. There is nothing more he can do. He starts tirades and talking nonsense, harassing you with faxes and phone calls. He says he has many satisfied customers, including some government agencies he has contracted with. You check them out and find he has given you bogus phone numbers for non-existent companies. You report this all to the government agencies supposedly protecting consumers. They do nothing but tell you it is a civil matter. Then you search for an attorney willing to sue him. You find he has judgements, liens and complaints a-plenty. He doesn't seem to care.
Beware! He sounds like a mental case who actually enjoys ripping people off.in every case, he believes it beats working for a living, so there is no trace of remorse; he's actually proud of how he got your money and doesn't have to face any consequences!
