* All Homeowners Please Be Aware * I too received a notice in the mail from " Property Tax Adjustment Services-"Regional Processing Center "
that I had to mail them a check in the amount of $189.00 with a due date. What concerned me in the process of reviewing this notice was first of all the assessment on my property shows the wrong amount also there was NO CONTACT INFORMATION on the notice then there is a DUE DATE that the amount had to be submitted by this was a RED LIGHT. So I went straight to the internet and to my surprise I found so many emails and websites on this scam that is occuring at this time.
PLEASE BE WARE AND MAKE OTHER HOMEOWNERS AWARE OF THIS SCAM. I too feel bad for the individuals who fall for this especially now a days when everyone is trying to safe a buck.
I really wish they get the individual or individuals behind this scam.
