I had a roommate that got a job at Desert Builders Supply Company, located in both Tempe and Mesa. His job was in Mesa. His first day, he was on the phones for 8 hours. The second day, he was standing on his feet all day. He was refused a chair until he made a sale. He was refused water until he made a sale. He could not go to the bathroom until he made a sale. They told him they would start charging him $20.00 per day for the "rental" of his cubicle. He was told when to eat, when to come into work, and was told that if he quit, he would not receive any proceeds for 180 days. He was told that if he received a check and someone who bought the product then sent the product back, it would be docked from his pay. These people contact potential businesses, and go by SEVERAL names while working the phones. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY! I am filing a grievance with the State Attorney General's Office.
