Local Network Channels Lost After Move, Storm Safety Concern

Direct TV advertises that local network stations are available everywhere. Direct TV moved service from Stephenville, TX, where local network was first received, to our present location in Graham, TX. For the first three months (Dec, Jan, March), local Dallas-Ft Worth network stations were received in Graham. Then, when the address change was made to Graham, TX, these were eliminated.

In Graham it was a struggle to get East and West Coast network, and after several calls and complaints, only ABC, NBC and Fox are received. Direct TV reps claimed that a waiver would be required to receive the local networks. After about three months of continual contacts, the local networks are still not received, nor are CBS E or West Coast TV. In each telephone call, Direct TV advised that the local networks would be provided, but after three months of continuous calls, still none.

Also, when the change of service location was made, free HBO and movie channels were to be added for three months. They were added, but the statement was increased for the cost of the free movie channels...

After several telephone calls and hassles, it appears an adjustment has been made in the bill. It was a horrendous task to get this corrected.

Local network TV is urgent because our location is 90 miles from the National Weather Service, the source of storm info for our area. It appears that being deprived of local TV network service that is available could result in serious hazards and damage from storms. Assistance is needed at once.
