This company is a total scam. Union of DC Movers boasts of no complaints, but check out their record at the Better Business Bureau. Even worse, check out the records of the companies they contract out to lsited on their website. Its a network of Russian scam artists known as "rogue movers." They lure you in with cheap rates and then purposely run up the cost by taking longer, tack on additional charges, and then hold your valuables hostage unless you pay them more money. I was threatened that they would not unload my tv unless I paid them more money.
They do not respond to phone calls or requests from the Better Business Bureau.
Go to craig's list and check out how they post again and again under all different names with the same phone numbers (1-888-56-MOVER) and email (golden_mover@yahoo.com). Total scam.
