Charged $79.99 to my debit master card without notice consumer rip-off fraud

Upon further research I find that CIC Credit Monitor is related to a credit reporting website advertising free services. Only stating that they needed a credit card number for use in the credit report.
As a result I am going to be short on my car insurance, and will have to pay the late fees on that. So now I will be out the late fee on top of the $79.95.
Very dishonest, a simple notice would suffice so I could at least have denied the charges.
