Similar to others, I was ripped off on the phone by someone selling a guaranteed credit card offer for $296.
They probably got my number from a web search for credit card searches, since I am trying to repair bad debt.
Against my better instincts I gave them bank account information, and they got their money, and I got nothing. Lucky they can't repeat the same withdrawal.
No one answers the 800 number during normal business hours, but you are encouraged to leave a message.
Don't make the same mistake!
