My significant other went on a cruise in January to the Carribbean. He'd already paid for the cruise before we got together, so he actually went alone. While on the cruise, at one port of call, he purchased a diamond dinner ring for me at Diamonds International. He actually purchased two, but one he bought on the cruise ship itself. No problem at all with that one. But then there was Diamonds International...

Three weeks after he gave me the rings, I noticed that one of the diamonds had fallen out. I was disappointed, of course, but I figured I'd just contact them and have them replace it.

Nah, they don't replace ANYTHING! They have you send it to them for "repairs." What a joke! It took them nearly a month to get it fixed, and when I got it back, it did look nice. But exactly 7 days later, the SAME diamond fell out AGAIN!

By this time, of course, the ring has lost it's "shine", meaning I'm not so impressed with it any longer. Who wants to wear a ring that's obviously missing a diamond? One look, and people assume it's either costume jewelry, or it's very shoddy work by a jeweler. Bingo!!! That's one description of Diamonds International. Another, much more accurate description is RIP OFFS INTERNATIONAL!

Anyway, by this time, I'm pretty peeved. I contacted "Sandra C." once again, and this time I wasn't quite as nice about it. Of course, I wasn't too terribly nice the first time, once I got the distinct impression that they were trying to pass the blame onto their "vendor" who was responsible for the repairs. I told them that I didn't buy that one iota. THEY were the ones who sold the ring, and the ring was shoddy to begin with. Therefore, THEY were the ones I held responsible. She is a very lousy excuse for customer service, but then she fits right in with the whole shebang at Diamonds International.

At this moment, today, I'm still waiting for "shipping instructions" on sending the ring back to them for "store credit", which is a joke in itself.

Do yourselves a favor, if you go on a cruise, DON'T even bother to go into Diamonds International at any ports of call! They'll rip you off and not even blink! Their policy is that they don't give you your money back... EVER!!! Store credit? For more junk? I'm going to hound them every day until they get this resolved!

If anyone else has similar issues, and is interested in a class action suit, it would be nice if we could all pursue these jerks and put them out of business! I noticed quite a few other posts from the past on these same crooks. Obviously, we're not the only ones who've been ripped off!
