Horrible Kennel Experience

We recently boarded our dog for 10 days at a local kennel while on vacation. After picking our dog up we noticed he was lethargic and had a hard time breathing. After bringing the dog to the vet's office the following day, he was diagnosed with viral pneumonia including a weight loss of 20 pounds! The biggest issue is that we had family memebers that left phone numbers in case there was a problem and no one called! One family member checked on him after day 1 and was told that he was playing with all the other dogs and having a great time! So far, it has cost us $165 to board him and upwards of $1000 to help him return to normal!

With many trips to the vet's office for checkups and many different medications, including acupuncture our dog is on the mend. We would like other people to know about our experience with Doggie Doo before leaving their pet there.
