Date of discharge different then what i was told and i got proof!

Well here goes, I brought my own firing on to myself somewhat and take that responsibility for being discahrged. What I do not like is the fact they waited 5 days to fire me when they knew what they were going to do prior to me ever setting foot in the columbus terminal.

I had a side swipe accident in PA - near wilmington, DE off I-95. (this happened on feb6th) Anyhow I reported the accident and all that and I was not cited - nothing from the PD. So I deliver my loads and get to GA and drop and let me sit for 4 days then i get a message to get a repower and drag it to indy. Ok i head out get load and get going up that way no sooner was i leaving TN i get a message go to columbus. Ok i go to columbus and they can me. Now what pissed me off is my girlfriend lived in SC - I was in GA then i could have sent her home then much cheaper for me. Oh no swift made sure I brought the truck back to the terminal so I wouldnt leave it in BFE georgia and i would have left it in a marsh somewhere.

What happened is I put GF on bus (nice 150 bucks i didnt have) then i get home and file for unemployment - i dont get unemployment - i caused me own unemployment - ok i can deal with that. But when my DM and safety manager canned me they tried spweing this bullshit they didnt know they were gonna let me go till I got into columbus. Well i got a letter in the mail saying i got canned on the 11th for unemployment from Swift - i was told to my face on the 13th i was fired - now you tell who is full of shit?
