On april 4th i was told to go to the allentown terminal to see safety, on the 5th safety said they didnt need to see me, then i get called inside where they fired me for idleing while i was waiting to deliver their load, that a consignee wouldnt take until almost a week later.
The thing thats really wrong is, i had just gotten off of hometime, and had picked up and delivered loads in cloumbus ohio, they have a terminal 30 minutes away in springfield ohio. They could have fired me there and i would have had a way home, but they made me take a load to allen town and told me i had until the end of the day to get my truck cleared out and get off their property. I had my dog with me and they suggested giving him to the humane society or letting him loose if i couldnt find him a way home.
It cost me $250 to get home because they had to drag me 500 miles from home to fire me instead of the 130 that springfield is.
