They hire you through the Elgin unemployment office, say they will be hiring you with great benefits then for only minimum wage to handle the cash register and some office duties, yet when they have you start in an empty freezing no heat in the building? You have to put together steel shelves, completely set up there store site for the next month for Minimum Wage, be your own boss, handle the customers yourself with our going to a manager unless you must, learn to drive a fork lift, load and unload very heavy supples since it is a Tractor store and get the building ready and all set up to be a store, so they can open soon, with no heat, no bathrooms, etc. Yet there web site says when you apply and get hired your will get great benefits, immediately, quick advancement with all these perks, Lies! No wonder why this store makes so much profit, they have slave labor to do everything that contractors and professionals would normally do. Having
inexperience employees put up steel shelving, risking customers and employee's to injuries, telling them you must learn to drive a fork lift? You tell the boss the steel bar is missing the cap from the 6' steel rack stand and the steel is very sharp and some one could walk in to it and slice there head open, and he says just put it together don't worry about that. They will be worried when they have a major law suit from a serious injury. They seem to hire quite a few women and retired elderly people who are desperate to survive and they totally take advantage of them, lifting heavy steel units, an putting them together with no instructions in the box, and your on your own, stocking there stores and get the building all ready for the store to open. Very Cheap Slave Labor, That' why their stock is doing so well! They are making a fool out employees and poor farmers that work so hard to survive, totally taking advantage of this bad economy!
