Bulldogsnyc, Bulldogs by the beach are huge scam artists.

My 4 children were excited when I told them we were getting a new dog. As a family we chose an english bulldog. We found the web site www.bulldogsnyc.com with a wide variety of dogs. However, if you notice the majority are "unavailble".

We contacted Steve and gave him a $500 deposit, and paid the remainder of the balance when e picked up the dog. It was a total of $1750. All appeared to be well, until my husband and I noticed the dog was not responding to auditory commands.

The dog was taken to the vet, where our worst fear was confirmed. The dog was DEAF. We then received a statement that the dog was unfit for sale. We contacted Steve, who made it almost impossible to get any type of compensation for this.

It was eventually decided that he would give us a replacement dog at no additional cost. He did not want the dog back and asked that we give the dog to a shelter or whatever we wanted to do. We were to get a replacement dog in January when the breeder gave him a new batch. I called every day from January to the month of February. Steve would not return my calls nor answer the phone.

Eventually, Steve answered the phone when I called from a different number that he did not recognize. I asked him what was going on, he staid no problem, go online and pick out the dog you want and come get the dog this weekend. I never heard from Steve again. Again he would not answer the phone, emails, or return messages.

Steve is a crook, we were robbed of $1750. We have no money and no dog. And my children were heartbroken. This thief should be behind bars, and his business should be shut down.
