Another Victim! Credit report showing collection account! Indianapolis Indiana

Just noticed on my credit report that I have a collection account reporting in Jan for BMG Music! Called the collection agency and they said it was from 2003 and they just got the case in Dec.

I find that so ridiculous because I havent rec'd a single thing from BMG about any balance owed and I havent rec'd anything from the Collection Agency either!

I've noticed many other people experiencing the same thing on here. I'm in the early stages of disputing this and of course there is no contact numbers for BMG on their website. The collection lady said she would send out a letter and it would have the contact info on it.

I am furious about this and plan to take whatever action I can legally.
