Would not let me change my mind 3 hours after I placed and paid for my order, says not refunds

I went into get an eye exam for 50.00, the Doctor was awesome, I had my eyes dialated for the first time and they had me shop for frames during the time the medicine was suppose to work, The salesman had in about 10 minutes to convince me my glasses were in horrible shape and outdated and that if I didn't go with the no scratch lenses I WOULD NOT LIKE MY GLASSES. What was I suppose to do? Im now more concentrated on not being able to see clear at all. He then tells me that my bill was 629.00. I was a bit schocked but I went and got a money order for 579.00 and when I got back he said he didnt charge me for the exam and I gave him 50.00 cash. I left still concentrating on not seeing.

An evening of thinking I called at 9am and said to cancel my order, not figuring 3 hours would not constitute not being able to do so. I was told to come and get my money order and cash it and bring back the right amount. I told them I would be in around 1pm and instead I just shot over there before a meeting to take care of it and they said they had already took it to the bank. I stated I needed a receipt from the day before, they said they could not give me one until the guy came back from the bank. I asked how long that would be and he said I don't know, I just work here. I said I would take the perscription but didn't want the no scratch. He said that was not an option either, I said what do I do and I was told quote "that is not our problem." I was frustrated and not very professional as I could not understand what was going on.

I took the name of the owner/operator and waited to call the next day when things settled. I spoke to dave minnotte... And he was over talking me and telling me i made decisions as an adult and was not mislead. I don't agree that I was mislead, I simply wanted to change my mind 3 hours later and was not allowed, which caused us to have a terrible experience. He was NOT professional, was yelling and not listening to anything I had to say, and it was an attack against me and him. So the business part was still left for me to have to deal with it and they still got a sale.

I don't want to deal with people like that nor would I want anyone else to understand what can happen when you go there. First of all the salesman should not tell you all negative things to convince you to buy something so expensive when he is talking about what you look like when you look in the mirror. Of couse no one wants to look ugly. I simply wanted the chance to change my mind and shop slowly. I was not able to do so he said i already paid and he is keeping the money.
