Twice, this company sent me a 26' box van instead of a 48' tractor trailer as requested.
I confirmed in excess of 5 times, that I would receive a 48' trailer, because I know that I fill the entire truck, without stacking the furniture, but stacking the boxes only.
They did this in 2008 and previously in 2003. The first time I thought it was an accident.
The movers don't speak English very well and they also put alot of dents in my walls and didn't mention anything to me. They even stole my coasters from the drawer inside my end table. Not an expensive item, but the principle is very bad behavior.
I should have realized that something was wrong, when they called me the day before the move and told me that they had another moving company that could provide my service. That they frequently used this company to sub-contract work for them. Now I realize that they either don't own a big truck or that it wasn't available for my move, which I scheduled 3 weeks in advance.
Also, the moving men would not listen to me, when I said no stacking the furniture. When I looked inside the truck, things were stacked to the roof! It was a nightmare experience. Every time I was busy doing something, the moving men were nowhere in sight. They took a break every time I wasn't watching them, which was every 30 minutes. They were very lazy.
I stopped payment on the check and tried to call 2 different employees to come and fix my walls and discount the move because of sending the wrong size truck and no one would call me back.
They then sent my check to the da's bad check office, so that I have to take a class of bad check writing. I also have to pay the full amount of the check (which I should not have written). But I was too tired after the move to deal with it, I just wanted them to leave. At least I can pay the check in payments now, so I can drag out them getting their money.
Bad moving company! Rembember, they did this twice to me!
