Orbit Vanlines I found out when it was to late, is not a real moving company. What they do is outsource your move to any company in the area that have space on their trailer. What Happened to me was given a quote by Orbit Vanlines sales rep. For a full pack move. I was told that my furniture would be loaded directly on the trailer. I could record the number of that trailer and I would be able to stay in full contact with the men that loaded my truck or the dispatcher assigned to me.

On the day of my move the company they outsourced to showed up almost three hours late because they were given the wrong address and county. They came with an Enterprise rental truck and did not know it was supposed to be a full pack move. Their price was over two thousand more than what Orbit quoted me. Their printout had the same amount of item and the same pounds but a much greated price.

To sum up a long story. The company said they were not going to move my furniture for the price Orbit quoted me. They said that they would leave If I did not pay their price and that they did not work for Orbit. I call Orbit and their manager said I should pay what this company is now charging, before I could get off the phone with Orbit the movers left without my furniture. Orbit now claim that I cancelled the move and does not want to refund my down payment of $2600. They were unprofessional and a total fraud.

Also the sale rep I dealt with for two weeks before booking, on the day of my move was on vacation. The dispatcher on the day of my move was out sick. I was left stranded. I had to extend my lease and find another way to move my furniture to another state.
