Mrt services beware of this company

To Whom It May Concern: I found this company on the MT Job website. I applied with them, took some tests, and began work. The person who hired me suggested that I might need another job in addition to the MRT job and now I know why, they don't pay! They expect you to work for free, or maybe they will send you a pittance every few months if they suspect you are catching on to their scam.

I finally got smart after about four months and started refusing work. I asked Julie Suttles, who hired me, the absolute longest it would take between submitting an invoice to them and getting paid and she said two months. I should have got that in writing. I have invoices outstanding from October from them. One employee I spoke with about this seemed very frustrated with the situation because it is getting hard for her to find people to do the work since they are not getting paid. She said I will just have to keep "pestering" them. She said if she thought I actually would not get paid she could not bear to go to work for that company. I guess she hears from a lot of us asking where our checks are. They refer you to the accounting person who tells you that the clients are not paying them, yada yada yada.

Also, another excuse I heard was the accounting person works from home and has a small child so I guess they wanted me to feel sorry for her that she is too busy with that to actually pay me for my hours and hours of work. I work from home and have a child too. I was told what a great job I was doing and they thanked me for taking such a large volume of work. One time they scolded me for being a little late in getting back with a report that I still haven't been paid for anyway. They say their clients expect to get their work in a timely manner, but what about the people who are actually transcribing these reports. What do they deserve? I just wanted to add my input about my experience with this company. I don't have a lot of hope that I am going to receive what they owe me unless I pursue it legally. I guess the way they survive is continuously recruiting new typists who don't know it's a trap. Shame on MRT.
