Failure to cancel bogus services

OAN showed up on my AT & T business bill 6 months ago. I called them immediately to cancel the charges because they were not authorized. They said I had authorized the yellowpages service which i did not. They would not ellaborate how they got my name other than i had called them.

In addition to cancellation, i asked for credits each month and they keep promising them but they never show.

I contacted AT & T and they do not have any records of how or why they were added to my account. I was able to put the charges in limbo for three months while the dispute was on going.

The AT & T rep i spoke with suggested contacting my state's Public Utilities Commission - every state has some sort of this but you need to contact the state in which your billing occurs i.E. Your bill mailing address.

I am floored that AT & T cannot simply stop charging the services - even if i were to sign something. If the PUC cannot fix this the only other course of action would be to get new phone numbers. Not my first choice as these are my business lines i am talking about.
