First Consumers National Bank
Ripoff/confusion chosen to only have FCNB credit card - I feel very used and misled

Shops, Products, Services

I am really confused. I have never had a problem with First Consumers National Bank. I received my credit card after my divorce in order to rebuild my credit.

I have never made a late payment and I believed that I was indeed rebuilding my credit.

Today, I received the Notice of Termination of Charging Privileges (only a 4 day notice).

I would like to know if the bank and/or company is going out of business or what? Will they continue to charge the annual membership fee? And if so, how can they do that and not allow charging privileges? It's all toward the same credit card.

I had a monthly charge for my ISP. I was very lucky that I could change the payment arrangements and that I had nothing else being charged to my credit card.

I feel very used and misled. Now what will I do without a credit card when you have to use a credit card for so many things? I had chosen to only have my FCNB credit after my bankruptcy and no others. Now I will have to start looking again and hope that another company will accept me.
