I had worked for United Metro Works for a while and about the second week of December they had made an announcement that we would not be recieving our payroll checks. They "said" that there accounts had been frozen by some credit card company that they were using.

They stated that we would be recieving our checks right before Christmas. Wrong! That did not happen as of today 1/5/09 they still have not paid most of the people that work for them. Many people could not even buy christmas for there kids, could not pay there rent or house payments or any other bills that were coming due.

They told us that we could file for unemployment benefits and that they would have no problem in letting us do that. They lied. One girl that i know of was fired because she did file for the benefits. They were supposedly going to be using another credit card company and money was suppose to be deposited and everyone would be given what was due to them.

As far as them being a scam, Well they are and all the reports that you see here are very very true. They will not refund any money to people that call and complain, they look at it this way, we got your money and there is nothing that you can do about it.

As far as people getting there product they only send out a few of the product IF the customer calls and complains enough to (in there words) shut them up. When they say that they have fired and employee for misrepresentation they lie about that as well, they may say they fire them but they dont they just make them use another name when they call customers, i know this because i was one of them.

I also found out that they are using another comapny, they are doing this because of the problems that they have been having and to fraud yet another credit card company, they are now using the name Simline Ads & Images or something like that and are being billed out of the owners house, so beware.

They also do alot of other shady things in that office, they have a layout department and if you dont have insurance on your car they will custom produce an insurance card for you if you need one.

They promise people that up to 5000 maps, community guides and whatever else they are selling will go out, Thats bogus I heard complaints from customers on a daily basis til the day that i left that they have not seen anything around the community.

If you are fired from that company and you go file for unemployment that have there little flunkie Jennifer Brian respond to the unemployment office witha bogus excuse why you got fired to try and stop you from getting any benefits from them.

If you get a call from anyone from this company hang up Immediately and contact the Attorney General here is the number for the Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan

Im sure that they would love to hear from you they have already had many complaints against them as well as from the better business bureau in Illinois and other states.
