Misleading Sales Unresponsive Customer Service Rip-off

Sierra Springs serviced my office, and I ordered from our sales rep there. I ordered a cook/cold dispenser and signed a one year contract. I even pointed to the dispenser in the office and said, "I'll recieve one like that, correct?" It had two taps: one refrigerated and one heated for teas, etc.

When I arrived home, the cooler had already been delivered, and it was what I call a cool/cold. One tap is refrigerated and one is slightly cooler than room temperature as the tank is next to the cooling tank.

I called customer service, and they informed me that the dispenser I got is the cook/cold. Apparently the warmer water is for use in cooking! I let them know that I had ordered this in agreement with the sales person that I would get one that dispensed both Hot and Cold water. She offered to have a different dispenser brought out, but I would be required to pay the higher rental.

I let her know that I would rather cancel the contract, as I wasn't given what I was promised at the price I was promised. She let me know that I would be charged a cancelation fee! I took this all the way to the sales manager, who said there was nothing they could do.

I was stuck with Sierra Springs in my home for 1 year, but after sharing my story with the owner of my company, all 5 offices cancelled with Sierra and went with another company! It pays to share your experiences, and it costs companies who don't listen! They billed for 12 bottles that year instead of the 300 they would have if they hadn't lost the company account!
