Ripoff, denies everything refuses to communicate the business that doesnt give a dam

Had a rather unique package to send. Took it to my local shipper, and they accepted it, charged me extra because "It's Not In Cardboard". I had packaged it in a piece of PVC plastic pipe, and mounted caps on the ends of the pipe with sheet metal screws. (remove three screws, inspect, and replace cap and screws) I insured the parcel for $600.

Because it was an item being sent for repair, I waited 10 days and telephoned the receiving party. They assured me that the item was repaired but inquired as to why I hadn't shipped the associated pieces for repair.

I told them how I had packaged it and they were amazed at the fact that it got to them in a bundle of damaged cardboard with a hand written shipping label and when the driver delivered it he had even mentioned that it was difficult to enter the tracking # in his computer manually rather than lazerscanning it.

Two bearings that were shipped in the parcel were missing. I notified the shipper, and they in turn notified UPS.

Finally after two weeks of me harrasing the shipper, and they calling UPS, an individual came to the receiving company's location and inspected the parcel remains and item. Ups has notified the shipper that the claim is denied because of improper packaging.
