Don't blame them they are victims too lottery, award, claim, tax money

My husband was the one who the letter was addressed to.included with the letter was a Bank of America check for 4,985 dollars. The letter stated that my husband had won 248,000 dollars in a sweepstakes lottery and that 3,975 dollars of the check they gave him was to be sent back to them for taxes on the winnings.

Well i knew this was a crock so I did some investigating and found the phone number to OKK TRADING INC online and, when i called, the lady on the phone told me that they were not involved in any sweepstakes. She also said that they had been getting calls about this since the end of November and that they had already called the police. She said the scamers are based out of Canada and that they are just trying to ripoff peoples bank accounts by using their legitimate company (which is a toy company) and one of their old bank acconts with bank of america.

So don't be fooled and another thing if you ever are sent a check for anything without any type of warning or heads up, someone just sends it to you trusting you with their money and they want you to send the majority of it back to them, its a scam. And you can confirm this if you call the number they provide you with and someone with an African accent answers the phone.
