This company is a scam, they have to be stopped

Shops, Products, Services

After reading too many complaints among the victims of this company, I felt the need to file a report as well to enlighten others. They are taking advantage for people who just want to earn an extra income and make their lives better and in return they will get nothing and waste a lot of money.By the number of reports already filed, I think this is enough ground for the government to take action.

I just moved here in the United states four months ago to work and due to my tight financial budget, I'm searching for other means to add up my income. Their advertisement appeared in my email, but I just ignored it because they are asking for my credit card number to start up the business. One week later while I was sleeping, one of their agent called to my cellphone and he asked me to grab a pen and a piece of paper. Although I was tired, I did what they asked. When I figured out it's all about business, I said I'm not interested bcoz I'm also afraid of scams but he continued.

When he talked about earning extra money, it was something that caught my attention that I guess anyone in my position could'nt resist. He played the recorded audio tape and it really sounds convincing. After that, he told me to be able to start up the business and yield high returns, I need to invest $450. I said I could'nt afford that so he lowered it to $250 and finally to $95 and so I agreed. With that investment he said, I would expect $500 return every month and will recieve package with all the information to be an affiliate and they will set up a website which will cost me $19.95/mos. For 12 months. They will assign one on one coach.

Finally, he asked my credit card number which I was still hesitant to give but he reminded me that if he didn't take that risk before, he would have not earning such big amount he's enjoying right now and finally he gave the phone to his supervisor to explain to me everything. She sounds professional so I finally gave my credit card number. It ended with a third verification call to my credit card and she said it's non refundable with 12 months money back guarantee. I felt relieved after that.

Three days later a man named "MAIA" called me and he asked my credit standing and how much I can save every month. I said it's good. He then introduced himself and he said he's my coach and I need to invest another $1000 for call blasts and email blasts if I want to have higher returns. My suspicion started and I told him why would I invest, I haven't received the full package yet but he assured me that it will come. I told him to just call back.

I called the toll free number the company gave me on their first call to verify if it exist, I talked to customer service and finally calmed down. My coach called me again after 15 mins and I finally agreed to charge me $500 to my checking account for advertising and he assured me $1500 return every month. He then asked me to sign and fax back the copy of the form they will send to me. When I received it through our fax machine, the name of the company was "AIG PROMOTIONS LLC".

By curiosity, I searched the name in the internet and I was surprised what I found out. There were too many complaints filed to this company previously and I felt so stupid. I should have done thorough research before I acted by impulse. I called back the company the next day for a refund but the lady who answered the phone said verbal agreement is enough even if I never signed the form and it is non-refundable as what we have agreed. I have to wait for 12 months for a money back guarantee.

I dont know if I still have to file a complaint in my bank to remove the $500 charge. If I'll do this, they're still going to charge me $19.95 monthly for the website for 12 mos. I'm not expecting anymore for any returns, All I want to know right now if those other victims got their refund after 1 year before it's not yet too late.
